Year 2 children sit the 7+ exams during the late autumn and early winter months. Year 6 children sit the 11+ exams during the first half of the autumn term in Year 6. Successful children are usually those working above the national level expected for their age group.

Verbal reasoning is designed to test your child’s verbal comprehension, their ability to reason and to be logical. High performing children are avid readers with a sound grasp of vocabulary. High performing children are often proficient with mathematical concepts relating to rotation, symmetry, translation, shape and direction. They also have good spatial awareness.
